Salmon Pate

A do-ahead recipe from the Bahamas for an "easy entertaining" treat!

Serves: 10-12

Ingredients

  • 1 (16 ounce) can salmon, partly deboned
  • 1  garlic clove, quartered
  • 1  lemon, juice of
  • 12 cup butter, melted

Directions

  1. Puree the salmon in a food processor, using a steel blade.
  2. Add the lemon, garlic and butter; this procedure will take about 60 seconds "processing time".
  3. Place pate in a large serving bowl, cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours.
  4. Serve on crackers.
