Potatoes in Butter and Garlic (Microwave)

These potatoes are an excellent side dish with just about any meal! And they are easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 6  medium russet potatoes (cleaned and cut into bite sized pieces with skin on)
  • 1  teaspoon seasoning salt (like Lawrey's, if you don't have this just use a bit of extra salt and pepper)
  • 12 teaspoon pepper
  • 2  teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1  teaspoon salt
  • 14 cup butter, diced

Directions

  1. Place the potatoes in a 2-qt. microwave-safe dish with a cover. Sprinkle with the seasoning salt, pepper, garlic powder and salt.
  2. Dot the top of the potatoes with butter. Cover and microwave on high for 8 minutes.
  3. Remove from microwave and toss potatoes and butter together. Cover and cook for an additional 2 - 4 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
