Pasta With Fresh Tomatoes

Ingredients
- 6 tomatoes, fresh, diced
- 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped
- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1⁄3 cup olive, coarsely chopped
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- salt
- pepper
- 1 lb orecchiette (I also use rotini)
- 1⁄3 cup fresh basil, torn
Directions
- Combine first 6 ingredients in a medium bowl and allow them to rest.
- Cook pasta as directed on package.
- Drain and combine pasta with tomato mixture and torn basil.
- Serve.
