Pan- Fried Apples

This is in response to a request. It is from Nigel Slater's "Real Fast Desserts". I haven't tried it, but it does sound yummy. Show more

Serves: 2

Ingredients

  • 4  tablespoons butter
  • 1  lb apple, cored & chopped in 1-inch pieces
  • 1  tablespoon honey
  •  thick cold yogurt, to serve with

Directions

  1. Melt butter in a shallow pan.
  2. Add apple pieces and cook over medium-high heat until golden and tender, about 10 minutes.
  3. Add the honey.
  4. Turn up heat a little to crisp up the outside a little.
  5. Remove and let cool a little before serving.
  6. Serve with cold thick yogurt.
