No Rest Yoghurt Bread

After tasting a yoghurt bread that a friend of a friend made, I found a simple yoghurt bread recipe on the net years ago, and since have adapted to make it my own. Show more

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 180 degrees celcius.
  2. In one bowl mix yoghurt and syrup/honey.
  3. In second bowl mix all dry ingredients.
  4. Add dry ingredients to yoghurt mixture and mix well.
  5. Spoon into a greased bread tin or silicon loaf pan.
  6. Sprinkle with sunflower kernels and press them lightly to ensure they stick to the loaf. I sometimes sprinkle a bit of salt on the top and a tiny bit of the syrup as well, but this is last part is optional.
  7. Bake for 45 - 50 mins or until top is brown.
  8. Allow to cool in the tin or eat warm - yum!
