Mountain Dew Pound Cake

Ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 cups butter
- 3 cups flour
- 3 cups sugar
- 5 eggs
- 1 cup Mountain Dew soda, at room temperature
- 1 teaspoon lemon extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1⁄2 cup lemon zest
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325degrees F.
- Grease and flour bundt pan.
- . Cream butter and sugar until creamy.
- Add eggs one at a time until blended.
- Alternately add flour with the Mountain dew, ending with flour. Add the extracts and zest and mix thoroughly.
- Pour batter into prepared pan.
- . Bake for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
- , or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Remove from oven and cool in the pan for 20 minutes. Remove from pan and cool thoroughly.
