Ingredients
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons wine vinegar
- 1⁄2 cup corn
- 1⁄2 cup broccoli floret
- 1⁄2 cup carrot
- 1⁄2 cup cauliflower floret
- 1⁄4 cup pimiento, chopped
- salt (optional)
- fresh ground pepper
Directions
- Combine bay leaf, water, wine vinegar in medium saucepan.
- Bring to a boil.
- Either add vegetables to the water and simmer until vegetables are tender.
- OR
- Place vegetables in a steamer basket, cover, and steam vegetables until tender.
- If you simmer, drain, remove bay leaf.
- Add salt and pepper.
