Healthy & Yummy Strawberry & Rose Yogurt Parfait

I whipped this up when I wanted a filling and tasty parfait. This is a delicious delight that doesn't taste like that curse word known as "diet food". This is great if you're watching sugar intake because the berries are nice and sweet, and the rosewater adds a pleasant flavor without it being cloying. Almonds and oats make for a perfect crunch as well as plenty of cholesterol-fighting nutrition! The fruit measurements are approximate, I just put a bit of raspberries and strawberries in the bowl I normally use for parfaits. Not a whole lot of fruit, barely 1/2 cup altogether. The best rosewater to use for this is Swad brand, it tastes like candy! (EDIT: The nutritional info posted on this is WAY inaccurate-- plain yogurt has maybe 14-15g natural sugars from the lactose in a 1-cup serving, certainly not 46g like it says; and only about 110 calories, not 250.) Directions

  1. Mix up together, then serve and eat! You can also refridgerate but it's better fresh when the oats and almonds are still crunchy.
