Granola Breakfast Cookies

Ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup shortening
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1⁄4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups granola cereal
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together shortening and brown sugar; add eggs, milk and vanilla beating well.
- In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking soda and salt.
- Mix well and add to sugar mixture.
- Stir in granola; drop by teaspoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets.
- Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are browned.
