Grandma's Bran Bread

Ingredients
- 3 cups sifted flour
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 1⁄2 cups sugar
- 2 1⁄2 cups all-bran cereal
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 7 tablespoons Crisco
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup milk
Directions
- Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
- Beat shortening and sugar until creamy.
- Add eggs and beat until light and fluffy.
- Stir in bran cereal, then alternatively add milk and flour mixture.
- Turn into greased loaf pans and bake in pre-heated 350-degree oven for about 1 hour.
