Ginger Sugar Scrub

A luxurious, yet inexpensive alternative to the scrubs found in pricy shops. My sister spent $20 on a container of this kind of stuff and mine yields the same results. *Note if you have sensitive skin you might want to omit the ginger, use less, or substiture lavender or rose oil for the slice of ginger. Yields: 1 cup approx

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Put the oil in a small sauce pot and add the thin slice of ginger.
  2. Warm over low-- until the fragrance of the ginger is brought out-- DON'T FRY the ginger, though.
  3. Allow the oil to cool to room temperature or slightly warm.
  4. Remove slice of ginger.
  5. Add in the sugar and mix together.
  6. Use this scrub on your rough areas-- if you want something less abrasive, substitute a finer grade of sugar.
