Carrots and oranges go together like... well, carrots and oranges. They're an amazing pair. Serves: 3-4

Yields: 4-5 cups

Ingredients

  • 1  cup yogurt (vanilla or plain are best)
  • 12 cup  frozen orange juice concentrate or 1 12 cups  orange juice
  • 2  large carrots (washed first, do not peel)
  • 1 12 bananas
  • 1 (11 ounce) can mandarin oranges in juice
  • 13 cup water (if needed)

Directions

  1. Grate carrots on a cheese grater until there is 2/3 cup or more.
  2. Peel bananas, break into chunks.
  3. Measure all ingredients except water, and blend on high until smooth.
  4. If smoothie is too thick or having trouble blending, add more water, up to 1/3 cup.
