  1. Brown the sausage in the bottom of a 4 to 6 quart pot and drain if needed.
  2. drain and rinse the kidney and black beans, add to pot.
  3. add butter beans undrained, unrinsed.
  4. add canned tomatoes.
  5. bring to a boil.
  6. reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes.
