Cheese Wrap

Great for a brunch or a shower. Or just for a snack or appetizer. Found at cheese.com believe it or not! They offer camembert as another cheese option. I have only made it with brie. Show more

Yields: 1 appetizer

Ingredients

  • 1  round  brie cheese
  • 0.5 (12 ounce) package  crescent rolls
  • 12 cup butter
  • 3  garlic cloves, finely minced
  • 12 cup honey

Directions

  1. Open rolls, take half of rolls and pinch seams together to make one solid piece.
  2. Place whole cheese round in center of the pinched together solid crescent roll.
  3. Wrap Cheese in Crescent roll by bringing the ends on top of cheese and pinching the ends together neatly.
  4. Melt Butter in sauce pan. Add crushed Garlic cloves, and sautee for 5 minutes.
  5. Add honey to butter and garlic and stir until blended through.
  6. Place wrapped Cheese in a lightly greased oven proof dish.
  7. Pour Butter/Honey over Cheese.
  8. Bake at 325* for 13 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and roll is a nice golden brown.
