Buttermilk Substitutions

Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice, combined, or
- 1 tablespoon vinegar, combined or
- 1 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons cream of tartar, combined or
- 1⁄3 cup milk
- 2⁄3 cup plain yogurt, combined or
- 1⁄3 cup milk
- 2⁄3 cup sour cream, combined
Directions
- Mix any one of the combinations thoroughly, and let stand on the counter for at least 10 minutes.
- Note: The original recipe said 1 PART milk to 2 PARTS of either the yogurt or sour cream, but this computer doesn't recognize 'parts', so I subbed in the cups.
