Butter Chicken

Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken, boneless and skinless
- 2 teaspoons garam masala
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 2 teaspoons ground coriander
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1⁄4 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 6 cardamom pods, bruised
- 1 1⁄2 cups tomatoes, pureed
- 1⁄4 cup plain yoghurt
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1⁄2 cup cream
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Directions
- Trim fat from chicken and cube.
- In crockpot first 9 ingredients and cook on low for 4 hours.
- Combine yoghurt and cornstarch.
- Turn slow cooker to high and add yoghurt mixture along with remaining ingredients.
- Cook another 10 min or until sauce has thickened.
- Serve with steamed rice.
