Broccoli Salad

Ingredients
- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup carrot, shredded
- 1⁄2 cup cheddar cheese, finely shredded
- 1 1⁄2 cups chow mein noodles
- 1 cup mayonnaise, Hellman's works best
- 2 -3 tablespoons hidden valley ranch dressing mix, about half the packet
Directions
- in a small bowl, mix mayo and ranch seasoning together and reserve.
- in a large bowl, combine broccoli, carrots, and cheese.
- add couple spoonfuls of the dressing at a time to the veggies until well coated. you may have leftover dressing that can be used for snacking.
- refrigerate until ready to serve.
- right before serving, gently mix in the chow mien noodles.
