Broccoli and Anchovy Sauce for Pasta

This is a great and unusual sauce for pasta. It's also a snap to put together.

  1. Cook broccoli until tender in boiling, salted water.
  2. Drain.
  3. Put back in pan.
  4. Toss in cream until heated through.
  5. Season.
  6. Fry breadcrumbs in butter until golden.
  7. Add anchovies and cook until heated through.
  8. Top pasta with the broccoli sauce.
  9. Sprinkle breadcrumbs and anchovies over.
