Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 cups beef broth
- 3 tablespoons red wine (I use Hearty Burgundy)
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 dash fresh ground black pepper
Directions
- Saute the mushrooms in butter for 4 minutes.
- Stir in cornstarch. Blend in beef broth and cook until mixture boils.
- Add wine, lemon juice and pepper. Simmer 15-20 minutes.
