Bob's Spaghetti Sauce

This is the best spaghetti sauce i've ever had. It makes a ton.

Yields: 6-4 quarts

  1. Brown chuck.
  2. Add onions and green pepper and saute until onions are clear.
  3. Add remaining ingredients.
  4. Simmer 4-5 hours (it really does need this entire time for flavors to develop).
  5. If sauce becomes bitter,.
  6. add 4 tbs. BROWN sugar (less if desired).
  7. Freezes well.
  8. I've found lately that some of the cans/jars are not the same sizes as this recipe.
  9. It makes absolutely no difference.
  10. Use whatever is closest to the sizes called for.
