Beer Cheese Spread

Easy as can be. Complete comfort food. Taste will vary depending on how sharp your cheddar is and what sort of beer you use. Mild cheddar with lager is one route. Extra sharp cheddar with IPA is another. Or go somewhere in-between . You can use either catsup, hot sauce or a mix of the two.

Ingredients

• 1  lb  grated cheddar cheese
• 1⁄2 small onion
• 1⁄2 cup beer
• 1  garlic clove
• 2  tablespoons catsup or 2  tablespoons  hot sauce
• 2  teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

Directions

1. Chop onion fine.
2. Crush garlic.
3. Put everything in a bowl and beat with a mixer. Stop beating when you have the texture you want.
4. Serve at room temperature.
