Baked Fruit With Syrup

Pancakes aren't so healthy when you drench them in maple syrup, so I made this fruit mixture to eat with my pancakes when I feel like eating healthy. You'll love it. It also makes a delicious fruit salad. Show more

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. Grease an 8x8-inch glass baking dish.
  3. Dice your apples and add to dish.
  4. Sprinkle cinnamon over apples.
  5. Pour 1/2 cup water over apples.
  6. Add the oranges.
  7. Drain juice from pineapple and add to dish.
  8. Add strawberries.
  9. In a bowl, mix marrionberry jam with 1 cup water.
  10. Drizzle jam over fruit.
  11. Put fruit in the oven.
  12. Bake for 15 minutes.
  13. Add yogurt covered almonds.
  14. Bake another 5-10 minutes.
  15. Start cooking your pancakes while you wait for the fruit to heat up.
  16. When your pancakes are ready, spoon fruit mixture onto pancakes with 1 or 2 tbsp of yogurt enjoy!
  17. If you reduce the amount of water by 1/2 cup it also makes a delicious warm fruit salad.
