I've worked for 30 years in health care, raising a family and playing in rock & roll bands. Cooking is my sanity.... I spend every free moment on the week-ends playing in the kitchen, creating and trying other friends & folks great recipes. I have a real problem with pre-packaged foods, and crusade for "from scratch" every chance I get. Easier is not always better or tastier. Saving time at what expense? I lecture the women I work with, and try to be encouraging and helpfull so they may take some of my insight home to their families.
