I'm fortunate to have lived in Southern California all my life (since 1965) with this climate, we are spoiled with fresh and wonderful ingredients from dairy to produce. As such, I am an adventurous cook - I love to try new ingredients and techniques. I love the art in food expressed in color, texture and flavors. I love the fine art of pairing foods with wine. One of my favorite things to do is to have friends over and cook together and enjoy a feast afterwards. I just hate the clean-up ;)
