I live in a very small rural community in the heart of the Ozarks in Missouri. Meals were always a big deal at our home when growing up, so that tradition has followed me to my own home. I spent many hours with my grandmother and great-grandmother, so a lot of my recipes and techniques are from the two of them. My mother and I cooked together from the time I was a small girl. She was a wonderful country cook and that has been passed on to me... much to the delight of my husband! :)
