One of my favorite phrases is it's all about the food. Some live to eat, some eat to live. I cook to see the smiles and hear the ahh's of family and friends. Many of my favorite memories are in my mom's kitchen. Memories of all the smells, clanging pots, the feel of the worn wooden cooking spoons, mom's old cutting board, and the occasional opportunity to sneak a taster when she turned her back make me happy. It has resulted in a delicious love-hate relationship with wooden cooking spoons and inspired me to create similar memories for my family. I continue to experiment with dark chocolate and garlic- it seems like a goal no one has yet acheived.
