I am a wife of 8 years, mommy to 2 precious blessings (DD, 2 1/2, and DS, 11 months). I grew up on a farm in WI with 8 siblings. Meat and potato-type dishes were often the fare and lots of it! Since getting married, I enjoy branching out into different cuisines my mother never tried: traditional Italian, Mexican, Thai, Indian, etc. My husband enjoys most of the results, although I try to choose things that my kids can eat as well. ;) A microbiologist, I now stay at home with my children. (Hence the name "Micro Gal"!) I'm looking forward to trying many new recipes here!
