Chef #1256226 Born in up-state NY, my palate was initiated in heavy Italian, hearty Czech and the Campbell's soup meals of the 60's - all three were a "feeding the masses a mass of food" approach to cuisine. As I've gotten older, I've started exploring all of the amazing creativity and art in cooking and eating and am really enjoying it. Most of the time, I'm a high school teacher, raising three, teen-age step-daughters (well, one is 20 now and she's on her own) and a wonderful husband.
