I am always on the look-out for finger food for our many appetizer parties. This recipe came about from my love of Bleu Cheese and my desire to have a nibble that was easy to eat at a standing room only party. Add or reduce cream cheese to bleu cheese ratio to suit your tastes.
This is a traditional corn pudding, served at Christmastime in Bolivia. Maybe I’ll make it this year as part of our menu. The recipe comes from 365 Ways to Cook Vegetarian. The original recipe called for raisins, but I’ve omitted them.
In my quest for cranberry recipes, I came across this little gem. Try it, you'll like it! From the Wisconsin State Cranberry Growers Association. This fits into the Mid West, New England and Canadian regions.
This is a very nice glazed carrot recipe I got from a Woman's Circle magazine. It includes what I think is a very clever way of freezing the carrots so you don't have to worry about defrosting; they can be baked right in the casserole you froze them in, without typing up the casserole dish in the freezer. And it's a technique you could probably use with many other frozen vegetables recipes. I hope you enjoy it!
This is a comfort drink that gives your Home a Beautiful Aroma. Full of spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, ginger & cardamom. Like fruity Chai. I favor the Apple Schnapp or Buttershots if you opt for booze. You can always make it without the booze and let those that want it add it themselves. It would be fun to try the different kinds.
