This recipe comes from Alton Brown and it's the only way we have rice anymore. My servings are quite a bit smaller than his, though! You can use chicken or veggie broth in place of the water, or add herbs and spices.

We love these served with a little dish of extra ranch dressing--super easy!

    Recipe #43656

These are sooooo great (and EZ)! I grew up eating these about once a week and they are incredible with mashed potatoes or buttered egg noodles and a veggie. While this recipe is basically my mom's, I have changed one thing...instead of using chopped onion in the burgers, I use an envelope of onion soup mix...it gives them the PERFECT flavor! This is now one of my family's favorite meals...try it and it will probably become one of your's, too. P.S. These burgers also work for grilling (without the gravy :).

chicken parm is my MOST favorite thing my Mom made (tied with eggplant parmesan) for my wedding which was casual...she made chicken parmesan. thats how great it is! By using the sliced thin chicken breasts...it eliminates having to do it yourself and also it really tastes like you ordered it at the best italian restaurant around!

Great seasoning taco meat, french fries, popcorn, etc. I usually make several batches at a time and freeze them for later use.

Just writing this recipe makes me want to drool as I remember how delicious it was . . . mmmmm, lamb. My husband who loathes sheep is now ready to raise some so that we can have this recipe more often. Easy. Yummy. Lamby.

This recipe originally came from the cookbook "What's for Dinner?". I've made some changes based on what my family enjoys. This is my FAVORITE way to have zucchini. This is delicious as a side for grilled chicken or fish and is also terrific just by itself.

This is an alternative way to get a little "good" food in your family without them realizing it. Tastes good too!

Another Mandarin Almond Salad. Only slightly different from the one Inez posted. Can't go wrong with either one. This is good stuff!

These pizzas are really easy and taste great.

This is an easy way to make ice cream without an ice cream maker. I did this when i was a kid in Girl Scouts working on a cooking badge. It is fun for all the kids both big and small.

    Recipe #109674

I have been posting all kinds of strawberry recipes lately and I have to say that this is one of my favorites because I love, Love, LOVE icecream. As I've mentioned before my fridge looks like a Baskin Robbins display...lol. This recipe is so creamy and cool and refreshing. Cook time is chill time.

Mom got this recipe from somewhere a long time ago and passed it on to me. Just multiply the amounts according to how much fish that you have to fry.

    Recipe #42780

This is so delicious you'd never guess it's low-fat. I tweaked a Weight Watchers recipe to suit my own tastes and it's become a favorite of ours! The sesame oil and cilantro add to it's distinctive taste.

    Recipe #51391

I have been making these for over 20 years, I usually get about 15 patties but it depends on the size of the batter that you drop in the pan, these are better if fried to very brown and crispy, you can make a double recipe, fry them then freeze them on a tray then pop them into freezer bags, then just warm them in the oven to crisp up, they are very addicting and I can tell you I eat half before they even get to the table lol! If you plan on doubling the recipe then make two separate recipes in two bowls, I have doubled the recipe into one bowl and for some reason they just are not as good --- if desired you could add in a slightly beaten large egg and reduce the milk by 1/4 cup --- you will *love* these! also see my recipe#186700 *and* recipe#244592

    Recipe #138173

These are really close to the real thing. My family was in heaven! They're great for dinner, football parties, or kid's birthday parties. I'm not real fond of White Castle myself but I gobbled these up. Note: To freeze: Assemble hamburgers less the condiments. Flash freeze, wrap in plastic wrap, put in a ziplock bag and label. To heat: Microwave until heated through.

This might not be for "everyone"...but we have found it curiously yummy for a week night meal without meat. If you love sweet potatoes and want to try them in a savory mix of black beans, rice and cumin...then come on! If you want a richer sauce, add 1 T. butter to the orange juice mixture. (Recipe compliments of Betty Crocker.)

    Slow cooker temptation - YUMMY!!

    Recipe #14927

I got this recipe from by best friend. It is wonderful and my family just loves it. Have taken it to many potlucks.
