This is a Thai recipe creamy and not too sweet, with all the healthy benefits of bananas, so rich in bone-building phosphorus and calcium, heart-healthy potassium, vitamins A and B6. Great for those leg cramps!

This interesting Vietnamese grilled dish combines pork with the sweet spice of anise and cinnamon. The longer the pork is marinated, the more flavorful the dish. To serve according to Vietnamese tradition, wrap in lettuce leaves, with noodles and fresh mint and cilantro leaves inside. I found this recipe at the EthnicGrocer sight. How good and easy does it sound! I think I'll make it with chicken!

This I have to make yet. Found it at the ImportFood.com sight. A quote from them "The pineapple adds a touch of tart sweetness to this dish. It has a rich creamy texture, and a red coloration that is an attractive complement to the shrimp. If you want to be a little fancy you can serve it in pineapple skin bowls." In place of palm sugar you can use Brown sugar!

If your not drinking Thai beer, Thai iced tea is the way to go. It is a native-grown red-leafed tea which is spiced with star anise seed. It is usually brewed strong and then blended with a rich swirl of evaporated milk. Delicious

A take off of Vietnamese fresh spring rolls that are little self-contained salads-to-go -- crisp raw veggies and lots of minced fresh herbs, along with cooked shrimp, pork, fried tofu but in this recipeI used ingredients called for in the RSC contest all neatly wrapped up in a deliciously chewy-soft, rice paper that you eat with your hands. They’re delicious, refreshingly cool, and fun to make as a group so each can place what they want into them. Perfect for a light summer meal, or hors-d’oeuvre. Being posted for the RSC contest. Which you needed to use the ingredients posted in the contest to make the recipe. Can be double very easily. Is served with 2 sauces both very different from each other and each complementing the duck. Rice paper rounds and rice vermicelli that are two of the essentials for this recipe so go ahead a alter this to add the vermicelli. Bean threads/bean vermicelli can be used in it's place.

This I posted as requested. I myself love thai food. And my DH loves it more. You can use any squid, shell fish, beef or chicken. Slice the meat thin for quick cooking if using the meat or chicken. Make it as spicy as you like. This is a fast cooking recipe. Serve with Jasmine rice or noodles.
