    Party Menu -- SuperBowl 2006

This is a simple menu for a day of fun with friends. We plan on snacking all day, and of course catching a little football. Chips, crackers, and apple wedges will be added for the dips.

A rich, yummy brownie with a cream cheese swirl and a thin chocolate-y icing. Starts with a brownie mix, and makes a 9x13 pan. This is a recipe my mom has made for years. **Note: the 1 egg and 1/4 c. oil in ingredients is for the brownie mix I use; prepare your mix as directed on the box, if it calls for more or less oil, water, etc. **

    Recipe #118280

I have been making ever since my son was small and even though my son is all grown up now they are still requested --- these bars are best if eaten the same day.

    Recipe #72608

A tasty snack and party dish!

    Recipe #27430

I saw Emeril prepare this on The Rosie O'Donnel Show as a kid friendly recipe. I think it is grown-up friendly too!

I love this for Christmas and Thanksgiving. I'd been searching for the best way to make stuffed celery for sometime, and think I found it several years ago courtesy of Allrecipes.com. Also good with crackers.

    This is Alton Brown's recipe.

These are fast, easy, and guaranteed to keep 'em coming back for more! If making as a main dish, I double this, and serve with a fresh green salad. They are also a wonderful appetizer. I made these up one day when I was anxious to get rid of a tube of crescent rolls in the fridge...had them sitting on the counter, my dad came home and wiped out the whole batch!! A definite family-pleaser! The ingredient amounts are approximate...I like mine w/o pepperoni, and they are equally as delicious!

Easy to make, a great way to use leftover taters (of course I make sure I have leftovers, LOL) with a stuffing that is thick enough to stay on the skin and not run over.

I always thought my deviled eggs were good, until I tasted these at a Hanukah party. The lady who brought them was kind enough to share her recipe. Cook time is chill time for the finished deviled eggs.

I found this recipe online at Robbie's Recipe collection. She later changed the recipe she had listed, but I like this version much better.

I made this up for a birthday party, from stuff in the cupboards -- it was gone in 15 minutes and people were begging for more!!! The name came from several friends who had had several jello shots ;-)
