I make these every Christmas for the cookie tray that I always have well stocked for our family's annual Christmas party. This is such a simple recipe with a few common ingredients that most people always have on hand in their kitchen pantry. And it produces such a wonderful bar cookie with a delectible almond taste. It's the perfect treat for any cookie exchange or potluck gathering.

    Recipe #336543

From the TV show, only one pan, easy clean-up and very good flavor.

    Recipe #314560

This was cut out of a magazine....don't know which one, but the author is Andrea Spandoni.....thus she gets the credit!

    Recipe #471649

I got this recipe from "The Barbecue Bible", by Steven Raichlen. Haven't tried this yet, but wanted to save it with my recipes, as my family loves wings. Time does not include 4 hour marinading time.

Thomas Keller’s scrumptious recipe combines three of the world’s most popular sandwiches—bacon, lettuce and tomato; fried egg; and grilled cheese.

    Recipe #268059

From Canadian Living magazine. All the flavours of a favourite sandwich tossed together on a plate makes this just as popular when it's a salad.

One of Australia's greatest cookery contributions, shell-on prawns cook quickly and stay succulent on the barbecue. Try this garlicky and delicious recipe and you'll understand why the shrimp is so good on the barbie! Add 30 minutes on for marinating time. This recipe is from John Torode. Enjoy!

    Recipe #483871

    Another family favorite.

About a week ago I found a really good quality imported "extra mature farmhouse cheddar" cheese from the UK and decided to test it in this recipe which was recently featured on thekitchn.com. Use the best ingredients you can if at all possible: homemade bread and mayonnaise, etc. Q: I don't intend to step on any toes (especially British ones) but don't you think bacon/rashers would be delicious in this sandwich? A. yes. The bacon is optional of course. The husband discovered my secret stash of the farmhouse cheddar cheese and now most of it is gone! :/ Serving suggestion that we enjoyed with our sandwiches: Recipe #272915, hard boiled eggs and fresh fruit. I believe this is my first English recipe posted here but the fine English people have no cause for concern.

Growing up in the Boston area, a Saturday night favorite at restaurants was Baked Stuffed Shrimp. This dish is light and delicious and the trick is to bake the shrimp in a glass pie dish, not on a dark cookie sheet -they come out much more juicy. Also, I added a little Marsala for sweetness - but I guess Sherry would do. Be sure to use only Ritz brand crackers and not the low fat variety or the taste will be greatly compromised.

I first had this at a school potluck and I indulged in more than my fair share! This feeds a small crowd of 16 people and the best thing is that it doesn't need refrigeration. It can be baked and kept at room temperature for up to one day.

    Recipe #289023

Recipe is from Favorite Brand Name Recipes and sounds like a delicious holiday bread or a great recipe to use when you have an abundance of zucchini in your garden! All you need is a great cup of coffee or tea!

There is a pizza chain called Dewey's that makes this. Of course, I don't have their fabulous crust recipe here (if I did I'd be out selling pizza). Just use the best, lightest, average thickness crust you have (preferably home made). If it turns out even halfway like the pizza at Dewey's, I promise your desire to eat other pizza will be "nevermore". And yeah, I am still working on bringing you that crust recipe!

After making this, I want to marry myself, it tastes SO good! LOL This is quite simple, juicy and VERY flavorful, with a crispy skin. I want the onions to carmelize, so I put the 1/2 cup chicken stock and the 1/2 cup white wine into the roasting pan in the beginning. (add more if needed) Sometimes I add fresh thyme or other herbs into the lemon-onion mixture. If you don't have twine, the chicken will still be fine, but tuck the wings under. I have added either small Red or Yukon potatoes to the pan with great results, the potatoes soak up the drippings and are very yummy. This is adapted from Food Network, Ina ROCKS!

    Recipe #413946

One of my favorites, a quick Italian soup. Recipe is by PAH on Mimi's Cyber Kitchen.
