My Sister-In-Law makes these nuts for the holidays. They are so easy to make and will disappear quick, so make a couple batches, give them as gifts or simply put in a candy dish around the house during the holidays. So Yummy!
This is the best banana nut bread ever. The crusty top and moist center is heavenly. I'll never make any but this. I make it and give it out at Christmas as mini loafs to all my neighbors and friends. Everyone raves about it. You have to try it.
This is one of my most favorite soup recipes! my family requests it on cold rainy days or for a Mexican fiesta. It will definitely take the chill off your bones. Be sure to watch the amount of pepper, or you will get it too hot! The enchilada sauce is spicy in itself. I've added cooked Fajita chicken to this to make it even heartier.
This is a fabulous cheesecake. If you like the Almond Joy candy bar, you'll love this recipe. It's too good! I use chocolate animal crackers for the chocolate crumb crust and the addition of Coco Lopez (Cream of Coconut - can find in the liquer isle) makes the chocolate ganache tastes so decadent. This cheesecake is not for dieters! It's my special occasion cheesecake or one for a simple indulgence! Love the "ooohs and ahhhs" I get on this one ;)
This recipe was given to me by a friend a long time ago, not sure where she got it, I just know it's the most requested pumpkin cheesecake recipe I have. When I want to splurge on cheesecake, this is it!!! Very rich and creamy, tastes like what you would expect in a restaurant.
My sister Brooke made this for me while visiting recently! Not being a big fan of red meat, this was absolutely the best steak. She served it with oven fries and a salad. Made for a perfect dinner just us girls.
This recipe is one of the best grilled jerk tenderloin recipes served with its own Pineapple Mango-Kiwi Salsa. The flavors of the two balance the heat of the spicy seasoning and the sweet of the Pineapple Salsa. Recipe courtesy of the Queen Bs ZWT3 (Won 1st place in a Jerk Contest) :)
Found this on the back of a Pillsbury Biscuit dough wrapper. These are so simple to put together. Making biscuits blossom and look like flower petals, sprinkle cinnamon & sugar on top and a scant of jelly in the center. Tasty!
It doesn't get an easier than this. I keep all these ingredients on hand. That way when I don't have anything to cook or we want a good satisfying meal, I can throw this together in the crock pot. This soup is so hearty, you can literally stand a spoon in it. Family favorite.
The contrast between the mildly sweet banana flavor and the intense praline sauce is dazzling. This flavorful warm dessert can be served in its own baked ramekin dish or unmolded onto a dessert plate. Serve with whip cream if desired. This is time well spent. If nothing else try the Bourbon-Praline Sauce, I've made this and served over ice-cream.
Straight out of Sunset Magazine. I saw this recipe while waiting in the Dr.'s office and couldn't wait to try it. Yummy! A buttery tart that has just enough sweet filling to hold the nuts together. I'll be posting a picture soon. This will definitely be a Christmas must have in my home.
This is my Christmas Brittle. The Macadamia Nuts give this a nice buttery taste. During the holidays is the only time I grab the macadamia nuts! Why, I think they are little expensive for everyday baking, but during the holidays, I want to do something a little more special.
Not another bread pudding.... oh, but this is the best for those chocolate lovers. This is a simple and delicious bread pudding that takes no time to make and your family will love it. I make this Bread Pudding with Recipe #209836 or you can use whatever sauce you prefer.
