The classic French Apple - Custard Tart. Unfortunately for me, I can never eat just one piece of this - the combo is heavenly!

    Recipe #107295

This makes a perfect side to a turkey, prime rib or ham dinner. The recipe can easily be doubled.

    Recipe #200043

A simple way to cook a wonderful roast.

I wanted to give all the puppies in my life a special Christmas present. I came up with this recipe. My dogs love it so much they will lick the crumbs off the floor.

    Recipe #53004

Here are the "secrets to success" for making Yorkshire Puddings and, believe me - roast beef, gravy & yorkies - it just doesn't get any better! Prep time includes "standing".

    Recipe #84796

From the Los Barrios Family Cookbook. This makes 6 main course bowls of soup. I have eaten this soup and it is wonderful. I have not made this soup at home.

    Recipe #127747

There are several honey butters already in Zaar, but mine is without added sugar and is more honey than butter. My family loves this.

    Recipe #122164

I wanted to create an easy spanish rice with ingredients I had on hand and this does not dissapoint. The Sazon is optional but very tasty...I've used both the tomato and the azafron flavor and both are good. I always use Uncle Bens converted rice for a fool proof dish every time! Covering the rice with a towel is an old mid-east trick that absorbs any excess water...it really works!

    Recipe #192668

This cookie has it all--peanut butter, chocolate and a touch of red chile. A delightfully different cookie. The red sugar cracks, creating an interesting and colorful coating. These cookies freeze well. The recipe works equally well with Splenda and Splenda brown sugar blend. The recipe is adapted fromm Real New Mexico Chile Cookbook.

    Recipe #201742

These are always a good pick for bake sales, school treats, picnics, etc. It's a slightly "lighter" (lower in fat) than other whoopie pie recipes.

    Recipe #116992

I first used this recipe in 1968, then lost it. I called Nestle Long Distance(before 800 #)& waited until they found the recipe, then dictated it to me over the phone. That long distance bill was not pretty!! The recipe is.

    Recipe #75095

Low fat (as cookies go), and the Splenda-Sugar Blend means they're lower in sugar, too. If you want to make them with just regular sugar, use 1-1/2 cups sugar instead of the 3/4 cup Splenda blend.

    Recipe #131031

What a nice combination of spices this cookie has! It's between shortbread and gingersnaps. Roll into shooting stars, hearts, or flowers and decorte with Sugar Cookie Icing Recipe #64015. Note prep time does not include time to roll and cut out the dough.

From VeryBestBaking.com - too good not to post! Will try them soon!

    Recipe #198502

This is from The Kosher Palette cookbook. This relatively simple recipe turns out a very pretty cookie.

    Recipe #191826

I think that these are just about the untimate ginger cookies. If you don't over bake them they will maintain a softness that is so toothsome. Warning! These cookies are telepathic and will call to you from the cookie jar to come and get them.

    Recipe #188682

This was my son's first year in 4-H. I talked him into making this cookie. Every kid brings chocolate chip cookies to the fair. Anyway, he received a Blue Ribbon and the judge committed to him that this was a unique cookie not your everyday chocolate chip. Recipe source was Ocean Spray

A delicious sugarless cookie filled with dates, raisins, apples and nuts. You won't miss the sugar! From the " Cooking with the Horse and Buggy People" cookbook. I have edited the recipe to include draining the fruit after "plumping". Thank you Paula!

Found this in "Food & Family" and is so easy to make. It calls for a minimum of at least 2 hours chilling time. This fudge is a great choice for cookie plates or platters, as well.
