This is one of my newly adopted recipes. This is Mermaid's original description: The most tender, juicy chicken anywhere. My mom has made this for years. Great with baked potatoes and veggie.

    Recipe #67470

This is a quick and easy bean dish...can be used as a protein for vegetarians, or as a side for the meat lovers! This is an adaptation of SarasotaCook's Recipe #385699.

Collards are among the oldest members of the cabbage family! Vegetarians can skip the bacon and use smoke flavoring and use a veggie broth in place of the chicken broth. I find this is one green that you do have to cook a while. The flavor is between cabbage and kale. They are low in calories. A rich source of fiber, vitamin C and calcium, and protects you against cancer.

    Recipe #397540

My daughter really likes this sandwich. She usually has 2 at a time. The mustard used in this recipe can only be found in Ontario, Canada as far as I know. So some Canadians will know it. You can substitute though. Just don't use the regular kind unless you want to of course.

My mother gave me three of these cookbooks and our family has used a lot of the recipes. This book has recipes from people who live all over the state of Minnesota. This is Yummy and great for a crowd, picnic, or holiday get togethers!

I was desperately searching for the rather plain macaroni salad served at Ono Hawaiian BBQ and this one comes close! Apparently, this is a typical macaroni salad from the islands. I've also made it with tuna instead of crab, and edamame (soy beans) instead of peas, and it turned out great!
