With heat from fresh ginger and a chili. Summer freshness at its best! Organic is the way to go. Be sure to wash and drain well.

    Recipe #316819

Great for a baby shower or a first birthday! This recipe can be made in half just be sure to use a smaller pan or use a shell pan and watch the cooking time. I made for a shower so I wanted a large cake to feed many. You are welcome to use any ice cream flavor. If you like your frosting you may want to make extra. Think ahead of color scheme and where you want to place which colors. You can simply this recipe by just using a box mix according to it's directions and skip the glazes. I used these glazes to enhance the ice cream flavor.

Baby bok choy are so crisp & good. I made up this recipes the other evening for supper as a side dish to serve with chicken. The secret is to add the greens for th last minute only. If you like your green beans well done steam them first I like mine still crisp so 7 minutes stir fry is just right

To save some time the potatoes can be boiled up to 2 hours in advance and let stand at room temperature --- I usually peel just a strip of potato skin (about 1/2-inch depending on the size of the potato) down the middle leaving peel on both sides, it makes a nice presentation if you are serving them to dinner guests, if new baby potatoes are not in season just purchase the smallest potatoes that you can find for this :)

I have a blood orange tree in my front yard, and it is about that time again for us to bring in our "crop"... so I pulled out this favorite recipe of ours. This is from Bobby Flay -- and is delicious served with his Coriander Potatoes which I am also posting here!

A delicious salad full of protein and fiber! Adapted from Food & Wine magazine, this recipe is by Melissa Clark.

    Recipe #156253

This is a very garlicky salad. A nice fast dinner. A slight adaptation from a recipe in "Weight Watchers Miracle Foods" cookbook. Each serving is 3 points as written. Though I suggest a tad more sauce, which would make the points go up a smidge. Red onion is preferred because of the milder taste. If you like the taste of raw onion, then yellow is fine too. The original recipe called for serving it immediately. I like to let it sit a few minutes so the tastes will meld, but it would not keep for more then an hour or 2. If you don't have baby greens, spinach would be excellent.

    Recipe #88236

King Arthur's Flour baking catalog (www.kingarthurflour.com; 800-827-6836) sells baking pans for making these regular or miniature doughnuts. The pans look like muffin pans with forms for making the holes in the doughnuts. Take a batch or two of these to your next feed-a-cop party. Makes 6 regular doughnuts or 24 mini-doughnuts

    Recipe #39963

I made this salad for a picnic potluck, It was a really big hit. I took everything along in icebox and put it together at the picnic. Easy to increase or decrease the recipe to fit the occasion, nice for a dinner party or a summer meal. I left the tails on the shrimp for looks, this makes a very pretty salad.

Rice or ramen noodles make a good partner for this tofu-enhanced vegetable dish inspired by traditional Chinese cooking. From Country Living magazine. After seeing many review, I would recommend using low sodium broth. This dish can be a little salty!

    Recipe #81722

I make this with fresh small onions from my garden but this can be made also with frozen small onions, this is soooooo good! This will serve about 3-4 people, but can easily be doubled.
