I was honored to have been asked to host the LiveStrong event which celebrated cancer survivors and we showed our support by picking recipes with yellow in them, making, and then photographing them. Here are the recipes made.
I found this when I was looking for recipes for angostura bitters. Since I don't drink the no alcohol appealed to me and I am darn sick of packaged mixes that I can buy. I am also tired of all ice tea so A Yellow Bellied Sap Sucker just appealed. And I like the name.
This is a drink I like to do for 2 people. For 2 people, it's strong and fun :) But it can be for 3 or 4 people. I always use Tropicana Orange juice in drinks. This comes from there : http://www.barmeister.com/drinks/recipe/1695/?o=by_letter
In my quest to lose weight and keep it off, I've been eating a lot of salad. I usually eat it twice a day which means I have to vary my salad dressing to keep from getting bored. I found this recipe on www.mizfrogspad.com and have altered it slightly to fit my taste. This recipe will fit into the WW Core Plan or counts as "0" points on the Flex Plan. Makes about 1 cup = serving size equals 2 tablespoons.
This is a great drink and it can be made with alcohol or not! It's so good, you'll be sticking little paper umbrellas between your teeth and dancing on tables! I have even tried this with Tequila.Great for pool parties, picnics and for no reason at all!
I've always enjoyed pink lemonade and would make a lot of the drink mix variety each summer. Once I became addicted to Recipe #109246 (Lime and Lemonade) the drink mixes tasted too watered down to me. I decided to try making pink lemonade from scratch too and this is what I came up with. The water and/or sugar amount can be adjusted to taste.
Advocaat's a liqueur made from a rich and creamy blend of egg yolks, aromatic spirits, sugar and brandy with a hint of vanilla. It has a smooth and full-bodied taste like eggnog. Can't find Advocaat try to make it. It really is so easy and really good! Check it out Recipe #220650
