This is a very simple, but tasty punch. It is also fairly inexpensive, which is great when a large quantity is needed. You can changed the flavor of drink mix used in order to obtain a desired color of punch. I recommend freezing rings of pineapple juice or the punch for use in chilling in the punchbowl.
I cooked my first turkey last night, wanting to get rid of the huge frozen turkey taking up space in our freezer. This recipe came out of one of my Better Homes & Gardens cookbook, and came out wonderful. I expected it to be much harder, since I have never made gravy or a turkey before.
I had this marvelous cranberry sauce about 5 years ago at a friends house. Since I have Diabetes, I substituted Splenda for an equal amount of sugar...you could switch back if you like. I love this recipe and make it every year at Thanksgiving. It's best if you make it several days ahead to allow the flavors to blend. It's a step above the "norm".
There is a fantastic restaurant in Springfield, MO where they throw the most delicious rolls at you before, during and after your meal. This is a copy cat recipe of those exact rolls. If you get the chance, visit the restaurant. If not, try these rolls anyway. They are so very good!
