Crostini are small toasted slices of bread that originated in Italy. Crostini has a variety of toppings; generally pates that are spreadable are used. Commonly served as appetizers. Home made crostini is made by using a baguette loaf of bread, brushing it with olive oil or melted butter, and baking at 350 till crisp.
