I know that alot of people probably read every little detail and i am going to make this honest and short..Yes i am married (happily for the last 4 and 1/2 years..)Yes i have a child..(just had her on October 17th of 2007) I have lived in Texas since 1973..I was born in the Philippines in 1970..Yes i am a citizen...My culture teaches the young women to be very hospitable to their guests..And yes i do continue to carry on my family tradition to my daughter..That is how i became the 'Household Chef' My mother was the cook and i was her sous' chef..She had taught me the basics in the kitchen..And i also learned from watching the Food Network T.V. My dream was to become a chef and restaurant owner..(Maybe the Next Foodnetwork Star..LOL!!!) I believe that everyone should learn about their heritage..their culture..I have successfully learned to cook Filipino cuisine from my family..They make the best teachers..I really do not have a favorite cookbook..I like them all..I am always searching for the good cooking sites and came across this one which really enticed me to keep searching for good recipes..My passion is to experiment with all the recipes that i find and use my family and friends as guinea pigs..
