I have been working in the restaurant/hospitality industry for over 22 years. I have lived in interesting places (most recently Ft. Lauderdale) that have both influenced and inspired my love of cooking. Although most of my experience is in FOH (front of the house), serving and bartending, I am always paying attention to technique and flattering my chefs with questions and requests for recipes and tips. I am now back in my small hometown here in Ohio and my boyfriend loves to be my recipe guinea pig. Sometimes I think he's too easy on me for he is a devout member of the clean plate club and is far from a finicky eater. My family is very happy to have me home, and get togethers with all of them make for the perfect occasion to test my culinary taste and skill. We love to take short day trips and sample foods along the way. I happened upon Food.com about a year ago and have been hooked ever since. Not to mention how many friends and family members I have turned onto the site. I love to take a recipe and tweak it to make it mine. It's so much fun!
