@Aimee Mae
After several years of working in a stressful, high burnout professional field, I have been blessed with the chance to stay home and care for my family full time. Now, I am getting in touch with my domestic side and loving every minute of it! My husband has put on ten pounds since I have been home and there is always something cooking in the kitchen. Along with cooking, I just love to garden and this year I planted several herbs which have been delightful for use in the kitchen. There is nothing like growing something in your own soil and then reaping the benefits in your kitchen. Along with cooking and gardening, I am a constant artist. I create in all sorts of mediums from oil painting to home decorating to writing, and never tire of expressing my artistic soul. My son and I also enjoy many hobbies together, many of which revolve around four legged creatures. We currently have five freshwater aquariums in our home, six hermit crabs, one ball python, one massive aquatic frog, a tadpole pool in the yard, a couple of sea monkey kits, one perfect Boxer dog, and one bossy Chihuahua. We share a passion for the enviroment and have become very focused on reducing our impact on the planet. Together we are learning how to live more "green" everyday. With that said, my pet peeves include those who live recklessly without any care for how their actions impact the rest of our very fragile world. Everyday should be Earth Day! ;)
