I was born in Spain, raised in Venezuela and England, and am now living in Miami. I’ve moved many times throughout the world: from Caracas to Brighton to study Fashion Design, then to Caracas where I launched my own fashion line and boutique, then to an apartment on 89th Street and Columbus Avenue in New York. From New York to LA where I was an Art Director for music videos and commercials, then on to Florida with its beachy weather, to Bethesda, Maryland, and back and forth to Caracas again and again to reset it all. Wherever I moved, I always wanted to be someplace else as well. In Florida, I remember tea time in Brighton, and wish to transport myself there. I can have tea time in my own kitchen, and be back in England the moment I heat the water, make the finger sandwiches, and set the napkins on the table. I started my blog because I want to be everywhere in the world at once. I recreate the places I want to transport myself to. These small moments turn an ordinary day into a miniature party or a tiny, quick vacation from within your own home. Celebrations always bring old friends closer and invite new ones. They reunite me with the families, friendships, places, and moments I have left behind. Our histories, memories, and senses are awakened in the kitchen, and we can share stories, bites, and laughter at the table.
