World's Best Sugar Cookies

"I got this recipe from a church function. I just made these and they are awesome. No refridgeration needed, no more waiting to make sugar cookies. This recipe makes a lot also."

• Ingredients: 10
• Yields: 36-48 cookies

ingredients

• 1 cup powdered sugar
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1 cup butter (no substitute)
• 1 cup vegetable oil
• 2 eggs
• 2 teaspoons vanilla
• 5 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
• 1⁄4 teaspoon salt

directions

1. Heat oven to 350°F.
2. Cream butter and sugars; add oil and eggs.
3. Mix together dry ingredients. Add to liquid ingredients.
4. Roll into small balls. Flatten with glass dipped in sugar.
5. Bake 10-12 minutes. Cool on pan for 2 minutes. Remove.
6. Just a note I pulled mine out of the oven at 9 minutes. They were perfect.
