  1. Don't know why I have been clueless about this little recipe but I am glad to be on board now. I had an extra canning jar, and put both ingredients in there and mixed together. I used this in the shower with a cotton wash cloth, and just sponged on this and it felt delightfully wonderful. Will use this again and again. Thank you so much, Lauralie!

  2. 100% natural witch hazel (check the label...most stuff in the store is only 86% pure) is much better for your skin. My BF used to use straight rubbing alcohol on his face until we went to the dermatologist and he told us that it really dries out your skin and actually makes your skin produce more oil. We have switched to witch hazel hydrosol and other hydrosols for our toners with great results. Just a tidbit I thought I would share...

  3. I have sensitive skin. It tingled a bit but worked well. It dried my skin a tad. Slather a little lotion on and it makes you feel great!

  4. This is a wonderful cleanser/toner. Really nice and so much less expensive than the stuff in fancy little bottles. Nice for those little blemishes that pop up occasionally even at my age. And the ingredients will last practically forever. DH has been using it rather than those harsh aftershaves.
