- boil and mash as normal.
- I prefer to cook them separately and then mix together in a large bowl.
- Add butter and seasonings and nutmeg to taste.
- Spread fairly thinly on an ovenproof dish.
- Score deeply with a fork making a nice pattern (a crown pattern is nice).
- Drizzle some olive oil and a little more nutmeg.
- Grill until golden and crispy.
- Is really good with Chicken passata. Any root vegetable can really be used including pumpkin, squash etc
