Wine Spritzer

"Alot of times, if a bottle of red wine sits open for a couple of days, I find the flavor has changed and I don't enjoy it as much. Instead of throwing it out, I like to make wine spritzers instead. Instead of using ginger ale or seltzer, I really like them made with Fresca. Freshens up the wine and is really tasty! Add more or less Fresca for your tastes. Great for summer evenings on the deck."

I often make this using a blackberry merlot and Diet 7-up. Tastes great!

It's almost a sangria to me. I didn't think it would be so good. I used grapefruit fresca. Thanks Kim. Made for Gimme 5 tag game

This was a different way to enjoy wine. As I dry wine fan, I still prefer using club soda for these, but my sweet wine/cocktail loving friends really seemed to enjoy them. Spritzers in general are a great way to enjoy a glass of wine while saving calories, so I've always been a fan.

Thanks for the great solution to leftover red wine! Not the greatest fan of red wine, but hate to see if go to waste. Tried this with the original flavored fresca and up the amount used to 6 oz. Very nice and refreshing!
