Wife Saver Breakfast

"I got this recipe from my sister, who is an amazing cook! We have it often at Christmas for breakfast. The great part is that you make it the night before, and have minimal work in the morning. It's fantastic! :)"

  1. I make this not only at Christmas time but I've made it for dinner to. It is wonderful!!! YUMMY!!

  2. This recipe is missing 3 Cups of Milk! (added to egg mixture) that's why it's dry......

  3. This was a big hit with the adults Christmas morning. I have tried to make this in the past with a different recipe that called for milk and it turned out soggy. This recipe was the perfect texture.

  4. well how funny is this, I went online to find hte yummy recipe my friend used to make for Christmas.... and lo and behold here she has posted it online! yay, thanks Carol. This one always works out well for me and when I make it , it is not dry like others say.

  5. I tried it and found that this was too dry. I also found that a crust was made even when I cut off the crust before hand. My husband and children love breakfast but did not like this recipe. Tastless.

Hi there. :) What a great site! I am 36 and have been married 15 years. I'm a stay at home mom with two busy children who are like night and day. One eats everything and the other is extremely picky. Just about everything I've learned about cooking and baking has been tought to me by my sister Gayle who is a fantastic cook. :) I have a couple favorite cookbooks I use, the "Joy of Cooking" and Betty Crocker's "New Cookbook-Everything you need to know to cook." They've both been very helpful.
