ingredients
- 3⁄4 cup water
- 3⁄4 cup milk
- 4 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons salt
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons maple syrup
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons molasses
- 1 3⁄4 tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoons fast rise yeast
directions
- This is the order I prefer to put in my bread machine: Water+ Milk then, 2 cups of flour+ salt+ syrup+ molasses+ butter then, 2 cups of flour, then the Yeast.
- 2 tsps Fast Rise Yeast= 2 1/2 tsps Active Dry Yeast.

Nice bread. It was not as strongly flavored as I had thought it might be, but it was very satisfying, chewy, but not too dense. I started it in the ABM & finished it in the oven, as I didn't realize how many cups of flour it used until I was into it & I was afraid it was too mauch for my machine. Turned out fine.
